Conclusions

The following has been decided:

• design and initial implementation key focus until end of March
• drop GWT from evaluation list
• don't continue with evaluating Webservices approach for now; we will probably consider usage of Apache Sling later on; however, should be independent of technology chosen on client side
• next step are:
  • still continue JSF integration project as it will be an artifact of Magnolia 3.6
  • focus on client side: check out ExtJS
  • create the decision table for JSF vs. Webservices approach and for the technology used on client side; will be decided mid of February
  • document analysis and concept (interface design trail) in Wiki
  • put some initial scribbles on the Wiki
