General Information
It is very easy to translate the messages:
- update the entries below with your name, language and email (so we can contact you) - or provide your own page on the wiki.
- get the latest English files "messages_en.properties" and "messages_templating_en.properties" from http://svn.magnolia.info/svn/magnolia/trunk/magnolia-module-admininterface/src/main/resources/info/magnolia/module/admininterface/
- rename them to messages_xx.properties and messages_templating_xx.properties (xx is the iso language code)
- open the files in a general text editor (in which you can type your language)
- replace the English text behind the =
- save the file in text mode with utf-8 encoding (if you don't know what this means: just try and send me the file). And can you add a screen shot so i can verify that i see the right characters.
- write your email address in the file header
- create a jira task on jira.magnolia.info and upload the file/patch to it
Keep in mind, that we will add strings in the future, and watch this space. It will be very helpful if you update the strings every once in a while. For this you will need to compare the English version with the translated version.
If you are starting to provide a translation, please add your name & language below, so that we can group efforts/avoid duplication of translation efforts. Once you have finished translation to some extend, you can attach the file here. Please note that you really really should register your name (log in) before updating attachments or else it is impossible for us to know who has done what, and if the file attached is trustworthy.

Future
It is planned to improve this way of translating since each module has again it's own messages files. The main idea is to start a service where you can translate onlie. We will build the messages files periodically based on this messages store. If you know about such a system please let us know.
